SWAT 4 Console Commands

Admin Command List:
This is the list of commands you can type into the console when logged in as an Admin and AMMod is installed on the server.

kick ac getplayers
Lists the id, name, score and ip address of each player currently on the server.

kick ac balanceteams
Attempts to balance the teams.

kick ac lockteams
Locks/Unlocks the teams so that only Admins can change a player's team.

kick ac getbans
Lists the last 35 ip ban rules.

kick ac gettempbans
Lists the last 35 temporary ip ban rules.

kick ac addban ip/range [time]
Adds an ip/range to the ban list. See below for more information on the optional time parameter.

kick ac removeban ip/range
Removes an ip/range from the ban list.

kick ac help
Lists all the ac commands.

kick ac info
Lists some information about the mod.

kick ac sc servercommand
Sends a command to the dedicated server console.
This reads in classes from Swat4DedicatedServer.ini such as AMMod.AMGameMod and AMMod.AMAccessControl
Adjusting maximum ping: kick ac sc set AMMod.AMGameMod MaxPlayerPing ###
Adjusting Teamkill action: kick ac sc set AMMod.AMGameMod TeamKillAction none/kick/kickban/forcelesslethal
Adjusting VIP kill action: kick ac sc set AMMod.AMGameMod VIPKillAction none/kick/kickban/forcelesslethal
Adjusting server password: kick ac sc set AMMod.AMAccessControl GamePassword ###
Adjusting maxjoin password: kick ac sc set AMMod.AMAccessControl MaxJoinPassword ###

kick ac motd msg
Replace msg with your message - sets the message of the day, enter no msg to remove the motd.

kick ac saveconfig
Saves the current server settings, useful after a kick ac sc set command.

kick ac restart
Restarts the server with the secondary maplist.

kick ac restoresag
Restores the saved maps to the normal maplist and runs Smash And Grab mode.

kick ac restoremaps
Restores the saved maps to the normal maplist.

kick ac savemaps
Saves the normal maplist to the secondary maplist.

kick ac getmaps
Lists all current maps in the normal maplist.

kick ac getsavedmaps
Lists all maps saved in the secondary maplist.

kick ac setmap mapindex
Sets the next map to the specified mapindex.

kick ac addmap mapname [mapindex]
Adds a map to the secondary maplist.
mapname is the filename of the map.
[mapindex] is optional and specifies the position to add the map in the list.

kick ac removemap mapindex
Removes the specified map from the normal maplist.

kick ac kickban id/name [time]
Kicks and bans a player.

kick ac kick id/name
Kicks a player.

kick ac makevip id/name
Makes the specified player the VIP.

kick ac forcename id/name newname
Forces the specified new name upon the player.

kick ac forcelesslethal id/name
Forces the specified player to use less lethal weapons for one round (or gives back their weapons if already in use).

kick ac switchteam id/name
Switches the specified player's team.

kick ac switchall
Switches everyone's team.

kick ac lockeddefaultteam None/Swat/Suspect
Sets the default team for connecting players if the teams are locked.

kick ac forceleader id/name
Forces the specified player to become the coop leader.

kick ac addreplacement oldclass newclass
Replaces oldclass with newclass. Note: Not saved unless you use kick ac saveconfig afterwards.

kick ac removereplacement id/name
Removes the specified replacement. Note: Not saved unless you use kick ac saveconfig afterwards.

kick ac getreplacements
Lists the replacements.

kick ac say msg
Replace msg with your message – prints a message to every player's chat area.

kick ac as msg
Replace msg with your message – prints a message to every Admin's chat area.

kick ac lockmaplist
Locks/Unlocks the maplist so that it cannot be changed.

kick ac forcenoweapons id/name
Forces the specified player to use no weapons for one round (or gives back their weapons if already in use).

kick ac forcespec id/name
Forces the specified player to enter free roam spectator mode.

kick ac forceview id/name
Forces the specified player to enter view team spectator mode.

kick ac forcejoin id/name
Forces the specified player to re-join the game.

kick ac forcemute id/name
Stops the specified player from chatting (or allows them to chat again if already in use).

kick ac pause
Pauses or unpauses the game for all clients.

Note:
id is an id taken from kick ac getplayers - these are not the same as the 'showids' ids

ip/range is an ip address or ip range

msg is a message of your choosing

oldclass is the classname of the equipment you want to replace

newclass is the classname of the equipment replacing the old equipment

name is a player name

newname is the new name of your choosing

servercommand will not allow change of SuperAdmin, Admin and WebAdmin passwords

time (when included) makes the IP ban temporary. It has the format: years:months:days:hours:minutes. Parts of this can be omitted, for example kick ac addban 1.2.3.4 3:0:17 would make the ban last for 3 days, 0 hours and 17 minutes, kick ac kickban Player 5:6:0:0:1 would make the ban last for 5 years, 6 months, 0 days, 0 hours and 1 minute.

The secondary maplist is primarily for use when running smash and grab old maps. It can also be used to save a favourite maplist in case it is changed.

Client Command List:
This is the list of commands any client can use by typing them in the console.

kick cc join
Puts you back into the game.

kick cc spec
Puts you into free spectator mode.

kick cc view
Lets you view through the eyes of players on your team.

kick cc menu
Opens the Client-Side menu (You must have the client-side mod [see above section] for this).

kick cc help
Lists all the client commands.

Other Commands List:
This is the list of commands any client can use by typing them in the console.

sad {password}
Logs you in as admin.

reconnect
Makes you rejoin the server.

quit/exit
Closes the entire game.

abortgame
Ends the current round.

flush
Flush all caches. Regenerates all lighting, 3D hardware textures, etc. Can be useful to reduce lag or to clear texture corruption due to 3D hardware driver bugs.

handsdown
Hides your weapon and hand from the 1st person view.

get <classname> <variable>
Gets the default value for a variable in a class. eg get swatgame.serversettings maxplayers

kick <playername>
Kick a player.

kickban <playername>
Kick a player and ban his/her IP. You'll need to edit your Swat4(X)(Dedicated).ini file to unban their IP.

open <mapname>
Opens a local map. Can be useful to open custom maps in Single Player. eg open sp-u273

say <message string>
Broadcast a message to other players in the game.

set <class> <variable> <value>
Sets the specified property of the specified class with the specified value. eg set swatgame.serversettings maxplayers 5

set input <key> <command>
Set up keybinds in-game. It automatically writes to the User.ini file. eg set input u say hello

setres WxHxD
Set the resolution and color depth. eg setres 1024x768x32

shot
Take a screenshot and save it in the System directory with a consecutive name like Shot0001.bmp.

startgame
Makes all players ready.

stat all
Shows all stats.

stat fps
Shows frame time in milliseconds.

stat game
Shows game stats.

stat hardware
Shows interesting hardware stats.

stat render
Shows stats about rendering. Note especially the Staticmesh/Triangles count.

stat net
Shows network performance statistics including ping, packet loss, bytes/second.

stat none
Turns off the display of any stats.

teamsay <message string>
Broadcast a message to your teammates.
