Natural selection 2

Hi guys

I have been playing natural selection 2 for a while now and noticed that its a REALY good game.
Since SWAT has died i think we should try to find a replacement for it, and i think i have found it! :D

First some info you might want. You need to have a pretty decent FPS or you will have serius problems hitting the enemies since its way faster than SWAT. The game costs 22 euro and you can get it from Steam

Getting it from steam allso means steam will support it for a while so it should not suffer the same fate as SWAT did.

So lets talk about the game shall we.

Gameplay

Natural selection is an FPS like SWAT or CoD. BUT the side you can play as are extremly different!
Marines are humans with guns and exosuits, small siege tanks and high tech things. So for all those SWAT and CoD players you will get familiar with them realy fast
Aliens are the good thing with this game. All alien players start as a normal unit called "skulk". Its a fast alien that can climb at any surface. Its the aliens most common "soldier". The alien players can evolve their unit thou by spending resources. They can evolve into a support class, a flying ranged class, a fast blinking assassin or a big ass tanky class. Each class costs different amount of resources. You gain resources by killing enemies and capturing controle points.

Thats the basic thing for most of the game. BUT this game is way more tactical. and lets look at that now!

Each team has a base that has to be build. And this is where the commander comes in. 1 player in each team will be a commander who will give orders to the rest of the team and he/she will build all the buildings and uppgrades for his team. But the commander needs resources, and here is where the other palyers come in. When the commanders teammates are capturing points the commander can build a structure there which gives him resources so he can help his team even more.

So if you thought SWAT was a teamgame, this is WAY more of a teamgame! Fight as a team or you will get crushed!

Interesting game, based on videos from YouTube. I think I might like it :D . However I need to play it, to be able to say more. Is buying the game via Steam only way? To be honest I don't want to spend money on games, especially expensive ones.

not sure if u must use steam. But to join the servers i think u must use steam.
Allso 22 euro arent that super expensive

I can say that the feeling in shooting is satisfying. Not realistic like in swat but still feels good
