So... who survived the zombie apocalypse? [Story]

I woke up at the morning hearing screams and noise from outside
I opened a window and saw some crazy people running around hitting people, probably some hooligans, I'll take care of them...
I took a knife from the kitchen and went down the stairs, who knows what the elevator had inside? I wouldn't risk it.
After finally reaching the lowest floor, I silently walked to the building entrance door, on the glass I saw blood.
When I reached outside I saw many people walking strangely, some running, they were punching each other, these were my neighbors fighting, wait a minute.. these are zombies, not some hooligans, zombies just like in Left 4 Dead, Dead Island!
On the other side some other group of neighbors were still normal humans, they were fighting to defend their loved, while I was running to help I heard a gun shot from behind my building.
All of us ran towards the area the gun shot was fired from, maybe it's a friendly?

No... it was a zombie... holding a gun!!
All of us took cover behind the rocks nearby (Yes, I have some big rocks behind my house), we've noticed a cop on the floor, the damage was done from the pistol the zombie was holding. While the zombie was wasting and missing all the ammo he has, I decided, bravely, to throw my knife and try to hit his head, but I missed, I was left without any weapon but my fists, another guy decided to throw some rocks at him, he missed few of them, but he managed to hit the zombie's arm with a big one and make him drop his weapon.

The zombie noticed us and started running towards us!
We had to take action fast as all of the zombies around were closing in on us! We all ran back inside the building I was living at, the zombies just kept running around, destroying everything in their path; trees, cars, benches. Suddenly a guy behind came out holding a knife, he was scared, he woke up to discover all this mess, just like I did a hour ago...
Looks like we are losing this fight, they are hundreds outside, and we are just 7 people, we are hardly armed with anything, especially me, I was really acting smart throwing that knife, And I missed it...
Great... I will probably be the first that will have his brain eaten. Maybe I should give up now, run towards them and do my best.. Yes, I will do that, I will take at least 2 with me, here I go!

Suddenly after I got hit at my stomach I woke up and found out it was just a dream, the zombie apocalypse was just a rumor to scare people! hahah I never felt so happy. I am hungry, my stomach hurts and makes noises, asking for food again... Whats that? I smell something delicious from the kitchen... oh no... the zombies are cooking my parents's brains!

I was bored enough to do something like that
It took me almost a hour to make, it was worth it in my opinion.
