[SWAT4] Premier League

The SWAT 4 News team is in the process of organising a SWAT 4 'Premier League' - a tournament where clans play each other in ViP mode and the idea is to replicate the famous football league in the sense that a win = 3 points, a draw = 1 point and a loss = 0 points. Clans will play each other once, on a neutral server with Brewer County Courthouse as the solitary map.

The team with the most points at the end of the fixtures will be crowned champions. The rules will be 1.0-based, i.e. no spawnkilling/camping/nading, no other forms of waiting (unless to cover vip), with window shooting being allowed. So far we have recieved fairly positive feedback with many clans being interested. Please reply with your decision as quickly as possible so we can draw up the numbers and prepare a quality, lag-free server. You can either write here that you will be participate, or in the 'Sign up your Clan' board on the forum. Matches are likely to take no longer than 1 hour and the aim is to have one for each clan every week, in a 5 v 5 format.

This tournament is designed to help make the SWAT 4 community stronger, not to destroy it.

Due to technical difficulties, that forum we listed above is not in use anymore and we will be instead using the dedicated SWAT 4 Tournaments forum @ http://swat4tournament.forumotion.com. For now, rules and league info can be found at http://pastie.org/3388816 and http://pastie.org/3388827 .

Please reply in this thread whether you would like to participate, then we can draw up the dates and times. If you do not wish to take part, please tell us ASAP because the cut-off day is Saturday midnight so any clans who haven't given a response by then will be ineligible to play.

i have a feeling alot of ppl / clans will complain about camping. camping is REALY hard to observe and judge.

in end 1.0 clans dono what mean camp, for them if they come and die it call "camp".

same. make camp alowed and i will allso wanna be part in this. but as it is now i think there will only be alot of rage and accusations

We won't participate in this SWAT 4 "Premier League" because of the following rules:

camp not allowed
spawn boundaries

i can elaborate that why we want those changes

this will result in ppl accusing any1 who kills them by sitting down or leaning. its VERY hard to prove if some1 is camping or not. allso we feel that this is taking away all of the tactics from SWAT

*spawn boundaries
in brewer u have to run pass the spawns of sus several times. so some flexibility about spawn camping should be thought of. especially at the roof where its a must to more or less spawn camp sus to be able to get vip to exit

i wonder allso what clans are going to participate?

Ok thanks for your quick reply. Regarding spawn areas SiberianHusky, it does say on rule 2 that on roof camp and kill is allowed as vip sprints like a girl to exit.
